    Size of different modules

    I have a doubt regarding the size of different modules. I mean does the 2x1 module has the same surface area as two 1x1 module?

    No, the 2x1 is large than 1x1. The area is 2x1=2 and 1x1=1.

    I think you misunderstood my question. My question is, does two 1x1 module have the same surface area as a 2x1 module?

    You're right, two 1x1 modules have the same surface area as one 2x1 module. Four 1x1 modules have the same surface area as one 2x2 module. Here is the picture:

    Thanks for clarifying my doubt. BTW, that is an useful article which clearly explains about the module sizes.

    Thanks for sharing the link. I had some doubts regarding the module size. But now everything is cleared after reading that article.
